The Village of Lindenhurst is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Mayor Frederick R. Kienle. Mayor Kienle served the Village as mayor from April 1988 to April 1996. In addition, Mayor Kienle served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mayor Michael Lavorata, who was recently elected to a two year term as Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, was sworn in on Monday night at the Village’s annual Organization Meeting.
