LINDENHURST YOUTH CENTER RECEIVED TOB-IDA DONATION

Pictured here, Babylon Town Supervisory Rich Schaffer and Babylon Town Industrial Development Agency CEO Tom Dolan recently presented a $9,300.00 donation to help fund the Lindenhurst Youth Center. The mission of the Lindenhurst Youth Center is to provide opportunities for all our youth to become caring, responsible, and contributing members of the Lindenhurst community. Local Spotlight
The Village of Lindenhurst has partnered with Genasys to implement the Genasys Emergency Management System (GEM). Residents and business owners are encouraged to sign up for the free service by visiting the following site: https://villageoflindenhurstny.genasys.com/portal/en GEM will allow the Village to send out notifications regarding weather, emergencies, road closures, and special events. People that sign up will be able to select the type of notifications they would like to receive and the method for which those notifications are received (email, voice message, text message).
