Trustee RJ Renna and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Jo-Ann Boettcher have announced the Lindenhurst Village Block Party “Wednesdays on Wellwood”, set for August 18th and September 1st.  Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this family-oriented, street festival with live music, over 40 vendors, mini-golf, and outdoor dining

In March 2021, New York State legalized the recreational use of marijuana for adults 21 or older.  The State is giving municipalities until December 31, 2021 to opt out of allowing marijuana retail sales and/or public use in their municipality. Village Officials have voiced concern over the amount of debris and pollutants in and along our creeks and storm drainage systems.  This on-going problem, of all types of debris, such as plastic containers, aluminum cans, glass bottles, Styrofoam, branches, grass, and leaves, entering the creeks, causes blockage and flow issues
