The Lindenhurst Youth Center is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, supervised space for the youth of the Village of Lindenhurst community to gather.

Lindenhurst Youth Center Mission Statement:

The Lindenhurst Youth Center’s primary objective is to create a safe haven for the youth in our community to congregate. Our programs are designed to help our youth develop their social skills, as well as promote a positive self-image. We pride ourselves on creating positive environments that give kids the opportunity to be a part of multi-faceted programs they may not be able to participate in elsewhere.

The Lindenhurst Youth Center operates a Drop-In Lounge which is open to all the youth 10-18 years of age in, and surrounding, the Lindenhurst Village area. The Drop-In Lounge hosts many activities throughout the year, such as parties, tournaments for pool, ping pong, basketball and video games, field trips to places like Six Flags Great Adventure, Splish Splash, movie theaters and bowling alleys.
