The Lindenhurst Economic Development Committee (LEDC) has been given the task of researching, reviewing and presenting recommendations to the Lindenhurst Village Board on issues of economic growth and the future development of the Village of Lindenhurst.

Regional Plan Association (RPA) Draft Report – In conjunction with the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), RPA has released a draft report with recommendations pertaining to the Village of Lindenhurst’s Downtown. It can be downloaded here:
Survey – The LEDC put out a survey to the community in March 2015. The survey was closed on May 31, 2015. The results of the survey reflect the feelings of residents at the time in which survey responses were collected. The results of the survey can be found in the document below.
Suffolk County Downtown Business District Analysis – In 2000, Suffolk County Planning Commission did a study of the Village’s downtown. The LEDC requested that the study be updated to review the downtown’s current situation. The Village received an updated copy of the report in 2015. Both reports can be viewed below.
