Delinquent Tax Report – The 2022/2023 delinquent taxes as of 12/03/2022 have been turned over into Liens.
Clean-up List – The 2022 cleanup list has been added to the 2023/24 taxes. Cleanup List
Pro-Rata List – The 2022 pro-rata list has been added to the 2023/24 taxes. Pro-Rata List
Tax Bills – Tax bills in the Village of Lindenhurst are mailed out by March 1 and are due by April 3. Village taxes are a once-a -year tax.
Tax Payments – Tax payments are only accepted in full. Taxes can be paid by credit card, cash, check or money order made payable to the Incorporated Village of Lindenhurst. Tax payments can be made in person, by mail or online (tax payments will not be accepted online after April 2, 2023). Please mail tax payments to 430 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, New York 11757. If taxes are being paid by mail, then envelopes must be postmarked before the last day of the month in order for the dollar amount to be valid.
Online Payments – Payments can be made online via the payment portal through April 2, 2023. Online payments will not be accepted after April 2, 2023. The credit card processing company charges a non-refundable fee of 2.5%. Online tax payments can be made by clicking here: Online Tax Payment Portal.
Late Tax Payments – If payment is not received by April 3, 2023 a 5 percent penalty and a $2.00 fee will be charged in addition to the tax amount. This fee will continue to increase each month it is not paid.
Tax Information – Tax information is not given out over the phone. Tax information requests can be faxed to (631) 957-4605. There is a $5.00 fee per parcel for fax requests. Tax information can also be found by coming to Lindenhurst Village Hall to review the tax roll books. There is no charge when an in-person search is done.
