Dear Residents, As we enter September and the fall season begins, I want to extend my best wishes to all of our students, families, and teachers as they start a new school year. This is always an exciting time filled with fresh opportunities, new routines, and community spirit. It is also a time when we see an increase in traffic around our schools and neighborhoods. I urge all motorists to be extra cautious during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. RIBBON CUTTING: BIRDHOUSE

Elected officials, including Mayor Michael Lavorata and Trustee Doug Madlon, recently joined the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce to celebrate a ribbon cutting ceremony welcoming Birdhouse to the community. Birdhouse offers a wide range of programming tailored to young families, including children’s music and movement classes, kids yoga, postpartum yoga, caregiver wellness sessions, parenting workshops, and community events; creating a welcoming space for connection, growth, and well-being.
