Dear Residents, As we enter September and the fall season begins, I want to extend my best wishes to all of our students, families, and teachers as they start a new school year. This is always an exciting time filled with fresh opportunities, new routines, and community spirit. It is also a time when we see an increase in traffic around our schools and neighborhoods. I urge all motorists to be extra cautious during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal. VILLAGE PARK PLAYGROUND REPAIRS

Local Spotlight

The Village of Lindenhurst is pleased to announce that the playground at Village Park has officially reopened. Thanks to favorable temperatures and sunny weather, the Department of Public Works was able to complete temporary patchwork to address hazardous areas of the playground’s rubber surfacing. The Village is currently in the bid phase for a full replacement of the playground’s rubber surface, which has deteriorated in certain areas due to the high volume of use the park receives.
