Lindenhurst Village Officials recently traveled upstate to attend the New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials (NYCOM) Annual Meeting & Spring Training School. The NYCOM meeting is an opportunity for Mayors, Trustees, and Village officials to network with peers from other communities, and attend a variety of training sessions and seminars. Topics covered include areas of essential information and skills that every local official needs, as well as breakout discussions on timely subjects and innovations.
Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “The NYCOM annual meeting is an incredible opportunity to meet and talk with fellow Village officials that serve in local governments throughout the State of New York.”
