The Lindenhurst Rotary Club recently held their annual Pups on Parade & Blessing of the Animals event. It was a beautiful day to celebrate our pets! An array of dogs and their owners enjoyed marching around Village Square Park, led by Rotary Club Co-Presidents June Cullinane and Trish LaFlare. Participants were also invited to bring a gift to be donated to a local animal shelter, and used to help homeless pets in need of attention and love.
Trustee Douglas Madlon said, “This wonderful, outdoor event was warm and loving, full of children, and short enough to get all the pets blessed before any serious barking broke out.”
