November 20, 2020 Dear Village Residents, The Pandemic is becoming more critical all across the United States; new records are being set daily. According to Newsday, as of November 18th, there has been a 5.29 daily increase in Corona Virus cases within the Village of Lindenhurst. With the Thanksgiving Holiday and extended time off from work this week, everyone should re-think how they will be seeing their families, extended families, and friends. Consider smaller groups and, if possible, separate tables. Maybe invite family and friends over to celebrate Thanksgiving on different days so that you maintain a smaller

Mayor Lavorata invites residents of the Village of Lindenhurst to attend the 3rd annual State of the Village address on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The event will take place at the Rainbow Room, located at 293 Buffalo Avenue (entrance closest to 34th Street) at 6:30 PM. The Mayor will provide a review of the previous year and discuss upcoming projects and improvements taking place in the Village of Lindenhurst. Memorial Day Parade Planning Underway!

As Memorial Day approaches, the Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that planning for the annual Memorial Day Parade is officially underway. This year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2025. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Ceremony and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North
