Village Downtown Master Plan

In the News

The Village will soon have its first Downtown Master Plan. The planning team of Babylon-based Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) is currently developing the plan which will be another crucial piece of Lindenhurst’s downtown revitalization efforts. Similar to our Downtown Walkability Improvement Study which the Village Board unanimously adopted in August, GPI is developing the Downtown Master Plan by fully engaging our community. In early November, GPI updated the Village Board and the Chamber of Commerce on the progress of the plan development. Here are a few quick things to know: •Early voting begins on Saturday, October 24th and ends on Sunday, November 1st. •Early voting will take place at twelve locations across the County. •Any voter registered in Suffolk County may partake in early voting at any of these locations.
