Mayor’s Beautification Society Merchant of the Year Award Ceremony

The Mayor’s Beautification Society of Lindenhurst proudly announces Spasso Pizzeria Merchant of the Year 2019 The Award Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 6:30 PM- 9:00 PM at the BACCA Arts Center located at 149 North Wellwood Avenue. A donation of $20.00 can be paid by check to the Village of Lindenhurst. Donation checks can be dropped off in advance to Lindenhurst Village Hall. Please RSVP by January 15, 2020 to Maryann Weckerle at mw191@aol.com or by phone (631) 379-8807. Light fare, beverages, and dessert will be served.

POLISH CULTURE HERITAGE DAY CELEBRATION

There was another successful event held in the Village of Lindenhurst last week when Polonia of L.I., Inc. held their annual Polish Culture Heritage Day. The annual event was well-attended with a day full of family activities, traditional Polish dancing and music, scrumptious Polish food and drink, and many vendors. Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “Polish Culture Heritage Day is a great way to celebrate the language, culture, and history of our many Polish residents, here in Lindenhurst and on Long Island.
