Veterans Day Ceremony

In the News

Tomorrow, November 11th, 2021 11:00 AM the Veteran’s Council will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony at the WWI Monument located at South Wellwood Avenue and Hoffman Avenue. South Wellwood Avenue and Hoffman Avenue will be closed for the duration of the ceremony.

SAND CITY SOUTH HOSTS LINDENHURST CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce was recently treated to a special tasting and tour of Sand City South Brewing Company, located at 150 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst. The event was held in honor of the launch of Sand City’s newest brew, “It Takes A Village” – “a beer that seeks to focus on the idea that when the tide rises, all boats in the harbor rise.” The tour was very informative on how Sand City brews beer, and how they put beer into the cans.
