In the News
The Village of Lindenhurst will be milling these roadways beginning on Friday, November 5, 2021. (WEATHER PERMITTING). Please Note all motor vehicles must be off the streets by 7:00 am; the streets will be reopened each day in the late afternoon. The Village will make every effort to limit your inconvenience and keep the roads passable.  Please bear with us as we make these much-needed improvements to our Village.  Weather permitting, asphalt work will begin the following week; you will receive additional notification as soon as possible. 1901 Restored Long Island Rail Road Depot Open for Season

The Village of Lindenhurst is pleased to announce that the 1901 Restored Long Island Rail Road Depot & Freight House Museum will open for the season on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. The museum, located at Irmisch Historical Park, on South Broadway between Kent Avenue and South Third Street, is open Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 2:00PM – 4:00PM, through October 29, 2022. Admission is free, and all are welcome to come and learn about this unique part of our Lindenhurst and Long Island history.
