With the fall season upon us, we also move into hurricane season. I think it is appropriate to remind our residents to be prepared. Here are some important tips to keep in mind for your planning: If a tropical storm, or hurricane, hits and power is interrupted, residents should be prepared to shelter at home. At a minimum, everyone should have on hand: 3 days of food 7 days of medication 3 gallons of drinking water per person LED flashlights A battery-powered AM radio Make sure to have extra cash on hand if a storm is approaching, and be sure

The Village of Lindenhurst today expressed its sincere appreciation to Kathy Hochul for allocating $113,829 in Aid and Incentives for Municipalities (AIM) funding as part of the State’s expanded financial assistance to local governments outside New York City. Lindenhurst Moose Lodge Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Local Spotlight

Lindenhurst Village officials were honored to join the recent St. Patrick’s Day festivities at the Lindenhurst Moose Lodge. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic evening filled with community spirit, and a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner that did not disappoint. The crowd was also treated to an incredible performance by the Mise Eire Irish Step Dancers, and DJ Gerry Ferretti kept the energy high with all the Irish classics.
