Senator Michael Venditto, the Village of Lindenhurst and the New York State Department of Financial Services are sponsoring a Foreclosure Relief Center located at Lindenhurst Village Hall from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. No appointments are necessary.
Homeowners that are facing foreclosure can speak individually with a trained specialist from the Department of Financial Services to assist in the pre-foreclosure and foreclosure process, help homeowners obtain loan modifications and other relief, provide information on available federal programs, and offer guidance on how homeowners can file complaints and seek resolutions with banks and mortgage servicers.
Homeowners should bring copies of their mortgage documents, loan payment records, or any other information relevant to their personal situation which could be useful.
