Exemption Applications Due October 3, 2022

IMPORTANT REMINDERAll applications (new and renewal) for partial property tax exemptions including Senior Citizen, Veteran, Volunteer Firefighter/Ambulance Workers are due by October 3, 2022. If your application has not yet been returned to the Assessment Department at the Village of Lindenhurst, please do so before the October 3rd deadline. Applications can be found on the Village’s website: https://villageoflindenhurstny.gov/assessment/ Village Hall is open Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. For questions, please contact the Assessment Department at (631) 957-7506.

Local Spotlight

Mayor Michael Lavorata recently swore in our Lindenhurst Fire Department Chiefs and Officers for another year of service to our community – Chief David Collins, 1st Assistant Chief Robert Santos, 2nd Assistant Chief Jonathan Cutolo, 3rd Assistant Chief David Brink, Secretary Charles Vozzo, and Treasurer Sarah-Marie Callahan. Mayor Lavorata said “Our Lindenhurst Fire Department Chiefs and Officers truly, faithfully, and diligently perform their duties and render invaluable, selfless service to our residents.
