MESSAGE FROM MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA   June 3, 2020   Dear Village Residents: I do not generally write about issues that happen in other communities. However, since George Floyd’s tragic death in Minneapolis has impacted all communities, throughout our nation, as your Mayor, I would like to share some of my thoughts. First and foremost, my goal is to maintain the safety and security of everyone. Saturday Commuter Parking Permit Dates — Saturday, December 21, 2024 and January 4, 2025

Lindenhurst Village Mayor Michael Lavorata announces that 2025 Resident Commuter Parking Permits will be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, November 20. IN-PERSON, Village Hall, 430 South Wellwood Avenue, is open weekdays (except holidays) from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekend hours have also been scheduled for the convenience of commuters as follows: Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM to noon Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to noon Persons wishing to obtain Resident Permits must bring their vehicle registration(s) and proof of residence (Driver’s License, a recent tax bill, or utility bill). 2025 Summer Camp Lottery Form Available Now!

Local Spotlight
The 2025 Village of Lindenhurst Summer Camp lottery application is now available. Applications can be downloaded below. Lottery applications are due back no later than February 28, 2025. Applications can be downloaded at the link above.The camp will start July 7, 2025 and continue until August 15, 2025. Camp hours are 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday. Campers are grouped by age (not by school grade) in the following groups: 5-7 year olds, 8-9 year olds, and 10-14 year olds.The camp is open to Lindenhurst children who are eligible to attend the Lindenhurst School District.
