September 23, 2020 Dear Village Residents: With all the news of the Coronavirus crisis, it would be easy to forget that experts are calling for an active tropical storm and hurricane season. Tropical Storm/Hurricane Season began June 1st and will last until November 30th, but the peak of the season will be in our area throughout September and October. That is why we always encourage all residents of Lindenhurst, as well as the whole Town of Babylon, to call 631-226-1212 for a fire or rescue emergency. In doing so, the call goes directly to our dispatcher, Babylon Central Fire Alarm. Calling 911 is always an option, and will have us notified, but there could be a delay in doing so.
