Mayor's Message
Demand for the COVID vaccine continues to outweigh the supply.  The current number of vaccines allocated for New York State is still low, which is somewhat frustrating for all of us, especially as we continue to deal with the uncertainties COVID-19 has brought to our lives over the past year.  However, if we can all be patient for a little longer, we will get to the light at the end of the tunnel.  An April appointment may seem far away, but it is sooner than you think.  Also, if you are not eligible, please do not attempt to make an appointment

The Village’s grievance period begins each November 1 and concludes on the third Tuesday in November, which is also Grievance Day. Lindenhurst Named Tree City USA Community by the Arbor Day Foundation

Mayor Michael Lavorata has announced that the Arbor Day Foundation has again named the Village of Lindenhurst, NY, a Tree City USA community for its commitment to urban forestry. “We are pleased and honored to be given this designation from the Arbor Day Foundation for the 36th year”, stated Mayor Lavorata.
