A MESSAGE FROM LINDENHURST MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA March 2021 marks the First Anniversary of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Lindenhurst Community. As the Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, I am designating Sunday, April 18, 2021 as a Day of Remembrance – a day to remember and grieve the lives we have lost, the loved ones left behind, and the heartache and uncertainty caused by this deadly virus. Congratulations to our newly-elected Lindenhurst Fire Department Officers — Chief of the Department Robert Santos, First Assistant Chief Jonathan Cutolo, Second Assistant Chief David Brink, Third Assistant Chief Stephen Batz, Secretary Charles Vozzo, and Treasurer Sarah-Marie Callahan.
