Mayor's Message

During our May 4, 2021 public meeting, the Lindenhurst Village Board unanimously voted to require all members of the public, employees, and patrons of Village-owned facilities, parks, and fields (indoor and outdoor) to wear a mask. This Village policy will keep mask restrictions in place until we have been advised by the CDC and the Governor of the State of New York that the pandemic is fully over, and it is safe to go about our new normal without face coverings. Memorial Day Parade Planning Underway!

As Memorial Day approaches, the Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that planning for the annual Memorial Day Parade is officially underway. This year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2025. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Ceremony and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North
