Mayor's Message
I am once again urging Lindenhurst residents to make necessary preparations for Elsa – currently a Tropical Storm — that could bring significant winds, heavy rain, and coastal flooding to Lindenhurst tonight, and into Friday.  I have instructed our Superintendent of Public Works to have our DPW crews clear storm drains and basins, and to have chainsaws and all our equipment ready if and when needed.   Please read my prior message regarding being prepared for the impending storm.  It is crucial that residents be prepared, and to take all storm and hurricane warnings seriously.  Please do not take any

The presentation will be led by Suffolk County’s Office of Emergency Management and will coverimportant topics like stocking up on winter essentials, recognizing signs of frostbite and hypothermia, and accessing local resources. Memorial Day Parade Planning Underway!

Local Spotlight
As Memorial Day approaches, the Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that planning for the annual Memorial Day Parade is officially underway. This year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2025. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Ceremony and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North
