The Holiday Season is here, and we are hoping you are feeling joyful. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 25th, and although this has not been the easiest year, there is plenty for us to be thankful for. For many of us, the meaning of Thanksgiving usually includes eating, four-day weekends, football games, family reunions, and shopping as we embark on the Christmas Season. Mayor Lavorata invites residents of the Village of Lindenhurst to attend the 3rd annual State of the Village address on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. The event will take place at the Rainbow Room, located at 293 Buffalo Avenue (entrance closest to 34th Street) at 6:30 PM. The Mayor will provide a review of the previous year and discuss upcoming projects and improvements taking place in the Village of Lindenhurst. VILLAGE OF LINDENHURST NY FORWARD SMALL PROJECTS GRANT FUND — OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Local Spotlight

The Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that grant applications for our NY Forward Small Projects Fund are now available! The Lindenhurst community has been awarded funds through the New York State NY Forward (NYF) program to fund catalytic projects in the downtown to spur revitalization. As part of the overall NY Forward Project, the State awarded $300,000 towards a Small Projects Fund. Applicants with smaller projects (total project cost less than $100,000) can apply for funding under this program to complete these projects. The deadline for applications is August 27, 2025.
