Mayor Michael A. Lavorata recently attended the grand opening of Bakuto, a new Japanese restaurant, with Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle, Trustee Patrick Pichichero and Village Administrator Douglas Madlon. Owners, Rachel Voges, Patrick Capellini, and Vincent D’Eletto stated, “We are so happy to have the support of the community and feel so welcomed in Lindenhurst.”. Mayor Lavorata said, “These people have worked very hard to make their dream of opening their own restaurant a reality.”. Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle said, “We wish them the best of luck in their new business.”. Bakuto, 121 North Wellwood Avenue is a Japanese Izakaya restaurant.
