Snow Storm Safety Tips

Pictured above is Highway Crew Leader Tom Schirmuhly, Clerk-Treasurer Shawn Cullinane and Mayor Thomas Brennan making preparations for Saturday’s snow storm. The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning, which is in effect from 4:00 AM Saturday to 12:00 PM Sunday. The Department of Public Works is prepared to handle snow removal throughout the Village. In order for the snow plows to clear efficiently, please remove all vehicles from the street. Town of Babylon Councilman Anthony Manetta along with Village of Lindenhurst Mayor Mike Lavorata and Deputy Mayor/ Trustee Maryann Weckerle are hosting a food drive to support local Village of Lindenhurst Food Pantries. Donations will be collected at the following locations: Lindenhurst Village Hall – Main Lobby – 430 S. Wellwood Ave – Mon. – Fri. 9am to 2pm.
