The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning, which is in effect from 4:00 AM Saturday to 12:00 PM Sunday. The Department of Public Works is prepared to handle snow removal throughout the Village. In order for the snow plows to clear efficiently, please remove all vehicles from the street. Holiday Food Drive a Success!

Local Spotlight

Babylon Town Councilman Anthony Manetta partnered with Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata, Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle, and the Lindenhurst Memorial Library to host a Holiday Food Drive to benefit local Lindenhurst food pantries. Councilman Manetta said, “The Pandemic has increased the need for food support across the Town and throughout our local communities.” Deputy Mayor Weckerle said, “Now, more than ever, we must ensure our local food pantries have what they need to serve our neighbors and local families.” The food collected was donated to the food pantries at Grace United Methodist Church & Evangel Church of God.
