A MESSAGE FROM LINDENHURST MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA Happy New Year!  2022 got off to a snowy start with our first winter storm on January 7th.  A big thank you to Superintendent of Public Works Rick Sorrentino, and the entire Village Department of Public Works team, for an outstanding job clearing the snow and keeping our roadways safe for travel. In the last days of 2021, I took a little time to reflect on the past year and all we were able to accomplish together, in spite of the challenges we faced.  You can read my reflection in my Mayor’s Message –

Swearing Into Office

In the News
The Village of Lindenhurst held its annual Organization Meeting, where Trustees Patrick Pichichero, Maryann Weckerle, and David Collins were officially sworn into office by Acting Suffolk County Court Judge James McDonaugh. The ceremony marks the beginning of their new terms serving the community. During the meeting, Mayor Michael Lavorata also re-appointed Maryann Weckerle as Deputy Mayor, recognizing her continued dedication and leadership within the Village. The Village looks forward to the contributions of its elected officials as they work together to serve the residents of Lindenhurst.

Lindenhurst Moose Lodge Celebrates St. Patrick’s Day

Local Spotlight
Lindenhurst Village officials were honored to join the recent St. Patrick’s Day festivities at the Lindenhurst Moose Lodge. Attendees enjoyed a fantastic evening filled with community spirit, and a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner that did not disappoint. The crowd was also treated to an incredible performance by the Mise Eire Irish Step Dancers, and DJ Gerry Ferretti kept the energy high with all the Irish classics.
