Mayor's Message
As you may know, Governor Hochul has at least for now, removed the Accessory Dwelling Unit mandate from the NY State Budget. You may also know that it was included in a budget rather than debated as a separate issue. If not for the amazing work of the Suffolk County Village Officials Association (SCVOA) and our Counsel, it may have not been detected and could have passed along with the overall budget. The 2026 Non-Resident Commuter Lottery Form can be downloaded here: 2026 Non-Resident Commuter Parking Lottery applications must be received at Village Hall by November 30th, 2025. Applications can be emailed to parking@villageoflindenhurstny.gov, dropped off at Village Hall, or mailed to Village Hall, 430 So. Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. For any questions about the Non-Resident Commuter Lottery, please contact Village Hall at (631) 957-7500.

Village Trustees Patrick Pichichero and David Collins regularly attend the Lindenhurst Fire Department’s monthly Fire Council meetings, reflecting the strong and cooperative relationship between the Village Board of Trustees and the Lindenhurst Fire Department.
