Winter Storm Information

In the News

In the event of a winter storm, the Village of Lindenhurst Department of Public Works asks each resident to do the following: Keep vehicles off the road. Put your vehicle in your driveway, or ask a neighbor to share theirs. If a driveway is not an options, lawns can be used to park vehicles only in the event of storm where the roadways need to be cleared (this will not harm the lawn). Try not to clear your driveway until the plows are finished. When the street is completed, pile the snow to the right of the driveway. Do not

LINDENHURST ROTARY CLUB HOSTS ANNUAL OKTOBERFEST

On October 3rd, a fun, family tradition continued as the Lindenhurst Rotary Club’s Oktoberfest returned to the Village’s Downtown. The event included German food, a Beer Garden, vendors, and lots of other types of foods from our local Downtown eateries. Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “I would like to thank the Lindenhurst Rotary Club for continuing the Oktoberfest tradition here in our Village.
