Trustee RJ Renna and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Jo-Ann Boettcher have announced the Lindenhurst Village Block Party “Wednesdays on Wellwood”, set for August 18th and September 1st. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this family-oriented, street festival with live music, over 40 vendors, mini-golf, and outdoor dining in the streets. As a reminder, on August 18th and September 1st, North Wellwood Avenue, from John Street to Hoffman Avenue, will be closed to traffic between the hours of 3:00 – 10:00 PM. Lindenhurst Announces Inaugural St. Patrick’s Day Parade

There has never been a St Patrick’s Parade in the Village of Lindenhurst, but that will change in just a few months. Lindenhurst Trustee RJ Renna and Belfast Gastro Pub Proprietor David Crowe have announced plans for the First Annual Lindenhurst St. Patrick’s Parade to take place on Saturday, March 26th, 2022 at 11:00 am. The event will include numerous bag pipe bands, Irish dancers, marching units, and fire department and school marching bands. “The Parade Committee has lots of fun things planned, including a “Green Tie Affair” on March 5th. Stay tuned for more information!” said Parade Committee Secretary
