NOTICE: ROADWORK RESCHEDULED

Please note roadwork for North Alleghany Avenue, Bristol Street, Dover Street, Easton Street, Fremont Street, Gary Street, and North Hamilton Avenue has been rescheduled due to weather. North Hamilton Avenue roadwork scheduled for today, November 12th, 2021 will be rescheduled for Monday, November 15th, 2021. North Alleghany Avenue, Bristol Street, Dover Street, Easton Street, Fremont Street, and Gary Street roadwork scheduled for Monday, November 15th, 2021 will be rescheduled for Tuesday, November 16th, 2021.

Varsity Softball League 2 Champions!

Local Spotlight

For the first time in 50 years, the Lindenhurst High School Varsity Softball Team are undisputed League Champions! The team clinched the championship with a final win against Northport, 4 to 1 on Friday May 13th at home. The Bulldogs have 13 wins and 1 loss. The team previously shared a League championship in 2007. The Bulldogs’ head coach is Rick Caravaggio who has coached Lindenhurst High School sports for 44 years. He has coached the softball team for 13 years. Bulldogs are in League 2 and headed for playoffs. Go Bulldogs! Pictured here is the team with Coach Caravaggio.
