Lindenhurst Rotary Club President Honored

Gaye Kienle has completed two years as the President of the Rotary Club of Lindenhurst.  During the July meeting, Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata and Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle presented her with a proclamation thanking her for her tenure and commitment to “Service Above Self.”  The proclamation designated July 9, 2021 as “Gaye E. Kienle Day” in the Village of Lindenhurst.

Mayor Lavorata said, “Gaye’s leadership and hard work kept the Rotary Club flourishing during the challenging, unprecedented year of the COVID-19 Pandemic.  We are thankful that the good works of the Rotary Club, such as supporting local food pantries, literacy volunteers, and providing school supplies, continue in our Lindenhurst community.”
