  Mayor Michael Lavorata recently welcomed members of the Walldorf Germany Fire Department and the Walldorf Mayor to the Village of Lindenhurst to celebrate the friendship between two villages. Members of the Lindenhurst Fire Department visited Walldorf in the fall of 2016.

  Lindenhurst Mayor Thomas Brennan recently retired as the Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst and was honored by the Lindenhurst Rotary Club and the Lindenhurst Kiwanis Club with the 2017 Community Service Award.

  The Village of Lindenhurst recently dedicated a tree memorial in memory of Frank C. Prince, affectionately known as the Rainbow Senior Citizen Center’s “custodian and comedian”. Rainbow Center Director Barbara Poldino said “ it was a pleasure working with Frank and he will be missed by all our Seniors”.
