Rainbow Senior Center Quilting Angels Honor 9/11 Victims with Handmade Quilts

The Rainbow Senior Center Quilting Angels, led by MaryEllen Ransom, have generously donated 12 handmade quilts to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund in honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The quilts will be given to families during Cantor Fitzgerald’s September 11 Memorial Service, continuing a meaningful tradition of providing families with something warm and tangible to hold as they remember their loved ones.

The Village of Lindenhurst thanks MaryEllen Ransom and the Quilting Angels for their time, talent, and generosity. Their thoughtful gift is a beautiful way to honor those lost and bring comfort to their families.
