Overhead Wire Cleanup Project

The Village of Lindenhurst will be working with Altice to clean up the overhead cable wires throughout the Village. If you are aware of a location that has unsafe or unsightly wires in the Village, please send a picture and location details to info@villageoflindenhurstny.gov with the subject being “Unsafe Wires”. Wires that are considered unsafe or unsightly would include wires that appear much lower than the others connected to the poles or wires that are loose or downed. Please provide exact location with cross-streets. For example, “Unsightly/Unsafe wires located directly in front of 430 S. Wellwood Ave. between Irving and

The Village of Lindenhurst recently broke ground to make way for a new storage shed at Shore Road Park. Using funds the Village received through ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act), the Village intends for the storage shed not only house Department of Public Works park maintenance equipment, but to also be used as a supplemental storage facility for the youth sports leagues that utilize the Shore Road Park fields.
