MAYOR LAVORATA JOINS SCVOA EXECUTIVE BOARD Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata was recently sworn in as 4th Vice President of the Suffolk County Village Officials Association Executive Board. SCVOA’S mission is to inform, support, and advocate on behalf of the 32 Villages of Suffolk County. Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “This is a great honor for me personally, to be asked to serve on the Executive Board of SCVOA. Local Spotlight

The Village of Lindenhurst, and the Rotary & Kiwanis Clubs of Lindenhurst sponsored a holiday luncheon for the seniors at the Lindenhurst Rainbow Senior Citizens Center. The highlight of the luncheon was the lighting of the Christmas tree by Mayor Michael Lavorata. Trustee Douglas Madlon and Trustee Maryann Weckerle were also in attendance to wish everyone the happiest of holidays, and all the best for the New Year.
