LEDC Downtown Survey

In the News

The Lindenhurst Economic Development Committee (LEDC) has put out a survey regarding the Downtown Business District (Wellwood and Hoffman Avenues). This is a follow-up to the survey done in 2015 by the LEDC. The goal is to collect a wide range of information regarding the improvements to the downtown, as well as any additional suggestions that residents, property owners, merchants, and consumers may have about economic activity in the Lindenhurst community. Dozens of Civil War Buffs and Local History Enthusiasts took part in the Society’s Self-Guided Tour of the graves of Lindenhurst’s American Civil War Veterans interred at Breslau Cemetery Lindenhurst, NY – On Saturday October 28, 2023, under bright blue skies and amid the peaceful, manicured grounds of Breslau Cemetery, the Lindenhurst Historical Society hosted nearly 100 visitors; Civil War buffs and local history enthusiasts, who partook of the Society’s self-guided tour of the graves of Lindenhurst’s American Civil War Veterans interred at Breslau Cemetery.
