Village Square Public Safety Office Opens

VILLAGE SQUARE PARK PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICE OPENS Public safety in the Village of Lindenhurst Downtown Business District continues to be a top priority for the Lindenhurst Village Board. Trustee RJ Renna has stated, “Our Downtown should be a place where everyone feels safe to work, live, shop, visit, and enjoy special events.” In recent months, the Village has increased the number of Public Safety Officers patrolling the Downtown, installed additional surveillance cameras, and established a Downtown Public Safety office in Village Square Park. The Public Safety office is located next to the Gazebo, and is equipped with radios, surveillance camera monitors, and an area for residents

CHRISTINA RENNA FOUNDATION ANGEL’S WISH GALA

Local Spotlight

The Christina Renna Foundation recently held their 17th Annual Angel’s Wish Gala. The foundation is dedicated to “A Prayer, A Wish, and a Dream of a Cancer Free World.” They support children’s cancer research and furthering awareness and education through the support of cancer groups and outreach programs for the direct support of those in need. Mayor Michael Lavorata said, “On behalf of the Lindenhurst Village Board, we are honored to support the Christina Renna Foundation for their selfless dedication on their journey to fulfilling Christina’s dream of eradicating childhood cancer.” Pictured here (left to right) are: Trustee Patrick Pichichero, Mayor
