Road Closure Notice for 3/25 St. Patrick’s Parade

The following roads will be closed at 10:00 AM in celebration of the St. Patrick’s Parade on Saturday, March 25th: – Hartford Street (Wellwood to Irmisch)– Irmisch Avenue (Byrd to Hartford)– Charles Street (Hartford to Alleghany)– North Wellwood Avenue (Hoffman to John)– South Wellwood Avenue at Reade Avenue– South Wellwood Avenue at Gates Avenue– Wellwood Avenue and Hoffman Avenue (between S. 1st St. & Travis St.)– East Hoffman Avenue and High StreetNorth Wellwood Avenue from (Hoffman Avenue to John Street) will remain closed until 4:00 PM.The following intersections at North Wellwood Avenue will be closed:– N. Wellwood Ave. at Auburn

The Lindenhurst Historical Society and the Village of Lindenhurst will cohost the unveiling of the 1901 Restored Long Island Rail Road Depot and Freight House Museum’s William G. Pomeroy Foundation Historic Transportation Marker- Saturday June 8, 2024 at 1 P.M. Celebrating its 50th year as a museum, the marker further designates the Depot and the adjoining Freight House as a significant Lindenhurst historic site Lindenhurst, NY – The Lindenhurst Historical Society is proud to announce that it is the recipient of a William G. Pomeroy Foundation Historic Transportation Marker grant. The grant funds were utilized to procure a Pomeroy Marker
