LOCATION CHANGE: Due to weather, the 9/11 Memorial Service location has been changed to the Fire Department Main House, 225 South Wellwood Avenue. Please join us at 7:00 PM. September 11, 2001 will live in the mind of every American throughout time. America will never forget 9/11/01. Lindenhurst will never forget. September 11th is a time to remember all that was lost to us that day: our sense of security, our peace, our innocence, our belief that we were safe beyond such random violence. LINDENHURST OFFICIALS ATTEND NYCOM SPRING TRAINING

Local Spotlight

Lindenhurst Village Officials recently traveled upstate to attend the New York State Conference of Mayors and Municipal Officials (NYCOM) Annual Meeting & Spring Training School. The NYCOM meeting is an opportunity for Mayors, Trustees, and Village officials to network with peers from other communities, and attend a variety of training sessions and seminars. Topics covered include areas of essential information and skills that every local official needs, as well as breakout discussions on timely subjects and innovations.
