Event Volunteers Needed!

2023 is the Village of Lindenhurst’s 100th Anniversary! The Village of Lindenhurst 100th Anniversary Committee has an exciting schedule of events planned to celebrate our centennial. We are looking for volunteers that would be interested in assisting with these events. If you are interested in volunteering, there will be an informational meeting at the Rainbow Room, 293 Buffalo Avenue, on Saturday 12/3 at 10:00 AM. Please send an email to info@villageoflindenhurstny.gov with your name, email, and phone number if you plan to attend. All community groups are encouraged to participate and attend the meeting. Junior Mayor Attends Village Board Meeting

Local Spotlight

The Village Board had a special guest at the April 16th meeting! The Village Board was joined by Junior Mayor Pia Parikh. Pia is a 4th grade student at Albany Avenue and was one of the winners of the “Loving Lindenhurst” contest. Pia created an “Everything Lindy” puzzle with each piece representing a different thing she loves about Lindenhurst, including the library, Albany Avenue School, Winter on Wellwood, and more. Pia opened the Village Board meeting by leading the Pledge of Allegiance. She then joined the Board to follow along with the meeting’s agenda, share some of her favorite things
