A YEAR-END MESSAGE FROM LINDENHURST MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA What a busy year we have had here in the Village of Lindenhurst! The year 2020 has brought us many challenges and many achievements. Our Lindenhurst Community has come together whenever called upon to do so. To all of our residents — please accept my personal thanks for your support and co-operation during this year, even at difficult times. To our valued first-responders, ambulance company, firefighters, and Chiefs of the Lindenhurst Fire Department, most of whom are at the call throughout the holiday season to ensure our residents get help when needed

Please be advised:Some of our main Village roadways will be affected by the Town of Babylon’s Soldier Ride tomorrow, kicking off from Town Hall on Sunrise Highway at 9:30 AM. Roadways in the Village that may experience delays include: North & South Wellwood Avenue Hoffman Avenue Montauk Highway Plan accordingly and expect temporary closures or delays. VILLAGE OF LINDENHURST NY FORWARD SMALL PROJECTS GRANT FUND — OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Local Spotlight

The Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that grant applications for our NY Forward Small Projects Fund are now available! The Lindenhurst community has been awarded funds through the New York State NY Forward (NYF) program to fund catalytic projects in the downtown to spur revitalization. As part of the overall NY Forward Project, the State awarded $300,000 towards a Small Projects Fund. Applicants with smaller projects (total project cost less than $100,000) can apply for funding under this program to complete these projects. The deadline for applications is August 27, 2025.
