A MESSAGE FROM LINDENHURST MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA March 2021 marks the First Anniversary of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Lindenhurst Community. As the Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, I am designating Sunday, April 18, 2021 as a Day of Remembrance – a day to remember and grieve the lives we have lost, the loved ones left behind, and the heartache and uncertainty caused by this deadly virus. Memorial Day Parade Planning Underway!

As Memorial Day approaches, the Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that planning for the annual Memorial Day Parade is officially underway. This year’s event will continue the long-standing tradition of honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. The parade and services will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 26, 2025. The VFW will hold its ceremony at Breslau Ceremony and proceed to Fireman’s Memorial Park. From there, the full parade will kick off at 11:00 AM and proceed west on Hartford Street and then head south on North
