A MESSAGE FROM LINDENHURST MAYOR MICHAEL LAVORATA March 2021 marks the First Anniversary of the first confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Lindenhurst Community.  As the Mayor of the Village of Lindenhurst, I am designating Sunday, April 18, 2021 as a Day of Remembrance – a day to remember and grieve the lives we have lost, the loved ones left behind, and the heartache and uncertainty caused by this deadly virus.  This will also be a day to reflect on the many ways our Lindenhurst Community has come together to look out for each other, to help one another, and

Suffolk County Legislator Kevin J. McCaffrey, Lindenhurst Deputy Mayor RJ Renna, & the Suffolk County Office of Emergency Management Present an EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS SEMINAR! The presentation will be led by Suffolk County’s Office of Emergency Management and will coverimportant topics like stocking up on winter essentials, recognizing signs of frostbite and hypothermia, and accessing local resources. Village of Lindenhurst Celebrates Arbor Day

Local Spotlight
The Village of Lindenhurst proudly celebrated Arbor Day by planting a new tree with the help of some of its youngest residents! Children from Caring & Creative Childcare joined the Village’s Horticulture Department in a hands-on tree planting ceremony that highlighted the importance of environmental stewardship. The enthusiastic young helpers eagerly took part by pouring dirt into the hole surrounding the newly planted tree, working side by side with Village staff.
