The Holiday Season is here, and we are hoping you are feeling joyful. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 25th, and although this has not been the easiest year, there is plenty for us to be thankful for. For many of us, the meaning of Thanksgiving usually includes eating, four-day weekends, football games, family reunions, and shopping as we embark on the Christmas Season. Village of Lindenhurst – 2026 Village Taxes

Village tax bills were mailed on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Residents should begin receiving their bills this week. Taxes are due by April 1, 2026. If you do not receive your bill by March 10, please contact the Tax Department at 631-957-7506 or visit Village Hall at 430 South Wellwood Avenue for assistance. Important Reminder:If you have a mortgage with an escrow account, your tax bill is mailed directly to your mortgage company, not to your home. Please plan accordingly to avoid late penalties.

A Lindenhurst dock space can be applied for through a lottery held by the Village. The lottery is open to residents and non-residents. The completed lottery must be received at Village Hall, 430 South Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst, NY 11757 or sent through email at info@villageoflindenhurstny.gov by April 1, 2026. Dock Space Lottery Form or Jet Ski Lottery Form.
