Village Clerk-Treasurer Shawn Cullinane (far left) swearing in Deputy Mayor Michael Lavorata (left), Mayor Thomas Brennan (center) and Trustee Joan Masterson (right) On April 4,2016, Mayor Thomas Brennan, Deputy Mayor/Trustee Michael Lavorata and Trustee Joan Masterson were sworn into office by Village Clerk-Treasurer Shawn Cullinane. The recently re-elected Village Board members will be serving four year terms.

Holiday Food Drive a Success!

Babylon Town Councilman Anthony Manetta partnered with Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata, Deputy Mayor Maryann Weckerle, and the Lindenhurst Memorial Library to host a Holiday Food Drive to benefit local Lindenhurst food pantries. Councilman Manetta said, “The Pandemic has increased the need for food support across the Town and throughout our local communities.” Deputy Mayor Weckerle said, “Now, more than ever, we must ensure our local food pantries have what they need to serve our neighbors and local families.” The food collected was donated to the food pantries at Grace United Methodist Church & Evangel Church of God.
