Tree Dedicated in Memory of Rainbow Center Employee

In the News

The Village of Lindenhurst recently dedicated a tree memorial in memory of Frank C. Prince, affectionately known as the Rainbow Senior Citizen Center’s “custodian and comedian”. Rainbow Center Director Barbara Poldino said “ it was a pleasure working with Frank and he will be missed by all our Seniors”. Over 75 people attended the ceremony including (left to right) Frank Prince, SR., New York State Senator Michael Venditto, Director Barbara Poldino, Deputy Administrator Douglas Madlon, Trustee Joan Masterson, and Trustee Maryann Weckerle.

John Street Roadwork Project Update

Local Spotlight

The John Street Roadwork Project is advancing as planned. Work has progressed as follows: Milling was completed on Friday 4/30/21. Crack sealing started on Monday 5/3/21. Full depth asphalt repairs of localized deteriorated areas started on Monday 5/3/21. Final Paving will begin once full depth areas are completed. It is anticipated that paving will begin next week.
