Tree Dedicated in Memory of Rainbow Center Employee

In the News

The Village of Lindenhurst recently dedicated a tree memorial in memory of Frank C. Prince, affectionately known as the Rainbow Senior Citizen Center’s “custodian and comedian”. Rainbow Center Director Barbara Poldino said “ it was a pleasure working with Frank and he will be missed by all our Seniors”. Over 75 people attended the ceremony including (left to right) Frank Prince, SR., New York State Senator Michael Venditto, Director Barbara Poldino, Deputy Administrator Douglas Madlon, Trustee Joan Masterson, and Trustee Maryann Weckerle.

Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, Suffolk County Legislator Kevin McCaffrey, and Lindenhurst Village Trustee RJ Renna recently spent the evening discussing local issues with the Lindenhurst Chamber of Commerce. Legislator McCaffrey said, “In our community, we pride ourselves on working together – the County, Town, and Village – to get the job done for the people of our community.
