16th Annual Halloween Family Fun Day: October 21, 2017

Mayor Michael Lavorata is pleased to announce that the Village of Lindenhurst will be hosting our 16th Annual Halloween Family Fun Day. This year the Village will once again provide a day of safe family-oriented Halloween fun featuring face painting, entertainment, games, hay ride, horse/pony rides, and a hot dog and beverage to all children free of charge. The event will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm. at Lindenhurst Village Park at Fellers Pond off Charles Street. CONSTRUCTION OF SOLAR CARPORT COMPLETED

The Village of Lindenhurst is excited to announce that the construction of a 362kW Solar PV Carport at the LIRR Commuter Parking Lot has been completed. This state-of-the-art, renewable energy solar carport project is part of the Village’s Energy Solutions Project in partnership with Johnson Controls, a leader in energy-efficient technology. The partnership is creating opportunities for the Village to produce clean, renewable energy at various Village-owned facilities, and the production of solar energy at the Commuter Lot is a key part of this sustainability commitment.
